In the start of 2020 I’d give the Motorola One Action a 7 out of 10 for Vlogging. It shoots in 4K both on the front and the back camera with nice colors but on the odd occasion problems with the exposure. Steady-shots are a must, as none of them has stabilization. The Action Camera, on the other hand, has some of the best stabilization I’ve come across – being right out amazing! Image quality is just not good enough when put onto a PC screen.
Audio quality of the Motorola One Action is tweaked to be very bright in the high-end, so it’s a matter of preference if you like that. Personally, I prefer the Huawei P30 and Asus Zenfone 6 that has better full-range EQ.
If you’re an absolute startup Vlogger, I’d recommend the Motorola One Action, as it will meet your most basic needs. But you’d very soon wanna take the next serious jump up to the Asus Zenfone 6 or a Samsung S10 or S20. Also the iPhone 11 if you’re into that eco-system.
