The best phone for Vlogging is a combination of solid 4K video and good sound/audio capability. In mid-2020 I’d give the Nokia 4.2 video a 3,5 out of 10 for Vlogging.
Video quality of the main camera is poor with colors not being represented accurately. At night it also suffers and you’d be lucky to catch just one good shot.
Stabilisation is not present, neither on the main or selfie cam. The audio quality of the Nokia 4.2 is below par only recording at 96 kbps which is such an awkward place to shave quality, when at the same time running around 20.000 kbps for the video in 1080p?
In sunlit daylight situations, it shoots good still-pictures though.
I can’t recommend this phone for Vlogging. It was definitely not made for vlogging.
