The best phone for Vlogging is a combination of solid 4K video and good sound/audio capability.
In the start of 2020 I’d give the Asus Zenfone 6. 9 out of 10 for Vlogging.
Video quality of the main camera in 4K is excellent with rich colors and good dynamic range The ultrawide camera is also surprisingly good, though it’s only 13MP – really useful! The cameras are from Sony and that means very good and warm color, though always a bit of a letdown a night. Stabilisation is really good on the Asus Zenfone 6, and it’s therefore almost ideal for vlogging. Audio quality of the Asus Zenfone 6 is some of the best you can get, but a bit tricky in post audio-editing if you try to use compression!? But still, it’s some of the best audio in the phone-world, with a rich full spectrum of sound. Put on headphones and try to listen when I step on my wooded floor. Pretty impressive.
I recommend this phone for vlogging, as it is my goto phone for all video recordings since January 2020. The fact that you can monitor yourself before and during every shot in 4K quality is just perfect.
